About

I am Paul Boes and this is my website. I am currently a PhD candidate in theoretical physics  at the Freie Universität Berlin. I work in the AG Eisert and concentrate on quantum thermodynamics and related foundational and quantum many-body stuff. Previously, I have been studying physics as well as philosophy and history of science in London and Oxford. I still have a very strong interest in the human science aspects of science and, in general, an interest in way too many other things. So, here I try to bring all of this under one umbrella. CV upon request, you can also stalk me on LinkedIn.

In addition to documenting and presenting some of my projects, I want to make the “blog” bit of this website the place for me to post my occasional writings.

Thanks to Lotte Meret for the header image!
